NELIG Midwinter Gathering: Living in the Future In-Person / Online

Welcome to the registration page for NELIG's 2024 Midwinter Gathering.  This free, half-day event will take place on Monday, March 18th, and participants have the option of joining in person or virtually, (select your registration type below.)  The theme for our gathering is “Living in the Future.” We’ll begin with a panel discussion of AI in academic librarianship (bring your questions!), followed by the chance to try out generative AI tools and network with your colleagues from around New England.

Our panelists include:

  • Kayleigh Bohemier, Science Research Support Librarian, Marx Library, Yale University
  • Dr. Sarah DeMott, Faculty Librarian for Freshman Seminars & Research Librarian for Judaica, Middle East, and Near East Studies, Harvard College Library, Harvard University
  • Allie Tatarian, Research & Instruction and Data Librarian, Hirsh Health Sciences Library, Tufts University

We will be in person at UMass Amherst’s W. E. B. Du Bois Library, 154 Hicks Way, Amherst, MA.
